All member accounts are currently active and can be used in Fitness Central, Backwater Bill's and Doc's Boathouse for purchases. Please be reminded that only credit card or member accounts can be used to make purchases (no cash). Security decals will be issued upon each member completing their Member Profile and signing the Rules & Regulations Acknowledgement Form. When do I start paying Hampton Lake dues and what do they include? The Community Association will not begin charging dues until October of this year. As Hampton Lake is currently in a "Soft Opening" period, reduced dues of $500 will be charged for the final three months of the year. Hampton Lake dues will provide members access to all Lakeside amenities including the lake, Lakehouse, Fitness Central, The Spa, Adventure Lagoon, Cool Pool, Doc's Boathouse, Tackle Box, Mother Nature's, The Outpost, Dog Paddle Park, and all other community amenities. What is the guest policy for the Hampton Lake amenities? Guests of members are welcome to use the facilities at Hampton Lake when accompanied by a member. There is no charge for accompanied guests' use of the pool , beach, volleyball court, basketball court, Mother Nature's, or non-motorized boating activities. Members may call security for guest passes at 836-7490. When will the Lakehouse & Backwater Bill's be open, and what are the hours of operation? The Tower Bar & Backwater Bill's will be open July 4th. Both will be open for lunch Wednesday through Sunday and happy hour Thursday through Saturday. The hours for both facilities will be adjusted based on membership use. While Backwater Bill's will be the main attraction of the Lakehouse, there are two other components - the banquet room and the back porch - that are available for member or member-sponsored activity. May members hold private functions at Lakeside? Members can schedule private functions at Lakeside which includes the pool complex, Backwater Bill's and the Lakehouse. For availability and scheduling, contact Kelly Mathews at 836-7917. What are the hours of operation for the pool area (Cool Pool & Adventure Lagoon) and beach? During the summer season, the pool area is open 7:00am - 9:00pm. During the winter season, the pool area is open 8:00am - 6:00pm. The beach is open from 7:00am - 11:00pm throughout the year. Are there any age restrictions for the Lakeside pools? Yes. The adult pool (Cool Pool), located at the far end of the pool complex, is limited to adults 18 years and older. This pool area is also designated as a quiet area and electronic devices used in this area must be accompanied by headphones. The main pool (Adventure Lagoon) is open to adults and children of all ages. Am I allowed to bring coolers with food and drinks to the pool and beach? Coolers are permitted at the pool and beach, but are restricted to soft-sided (no hard shell or coolers on wheels), and may contain only food and beverage when Backwater Bill's and the Tower Bar are closed. Soft-sided coolers may be used at anytime for food and drinks for infants or children under the age of 5. Only alcohol purchased from Backwater Bill's or the Tower Bar is permitted at the pools. Where are the first-aid kits located in the Lakeside area? First-aid kits are located at the pool restroom, the main Lakehouse meeting room service closet, Doc's Boathouse, and on each boat at Doc's Boathouse. A first-aid kit will also be provided to Outpost campers. May members use the fire pits located on the beach? The fire pits are available for use on the beach during operational hours (7:00am - 11:00pm). At certain times, such as during extreme drought conditions, use of fire pits may be limited. Please notify the Boathouse staff for use instructions prior to use. What are the hours of operation for Fitness Central and The Spa? The fitness facility is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 6:00am - 5:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10:00am - 7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm, and Sunday 11:00am - 5:00pm. How do I schedule a spa treatment or other individual fitness sessions? For spa treatments (massages, facials, manicures, pedicures), fitness evaluations, and personal training, contact the Spa and Fitness Central at 836-7470. What are the hours of operation for Doc's Boathouse (including Mother Nature's and the Tackle Box)? Doc's Boathouse is open Tuesday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm, and Sunday 11:00am - 5:00pm (closed Monday). To schedule special boat usage, please contact Doc's Boathouse at 836-7458. How do I rent a boat and how much does it cost? Boats can be rented at Doc's Boathouse during operational hours. To reserve a boat or kayak, call Doc's Boathouse at 836-7458. Inclement weather may preclude rental of boats. Pricing for rentals: 14' Carolina Skiff: $10/hr. 16' Duffy Boat: $15/hr (3-hr limit) 23' Duffy Boat & 21' Tracker Pontoon: $20/hr (3 hr limit) Kayaks & Skuller (Rowboats): no charge Are member's privately owned boats allowed at Hampton Lake? Member's privately owned boats can be used at Hampton Lake. Member boats must not exceed 22' in length or have four-stroke engines greater than 25 horsepower. Required registration and recommended guidelines can be obtained at Doc's Boathouse (836-7458). Member boats can be launched at the Lakeside Launch located across from Fitness Central. We ask all boaters to observe the lake-wide no wake speed. May members fish at Doc's Boathouse? Fishing is allowed at Doc's Boathouse. Children should be accompanied by an adult, life jackets for children are available at the Tackle Box. Shoes are required for all participants. When will the Outpost be available and what are the associated fees? The Outpost site will be available this fall. Amenities include restrooms, showers, cookout facility, fire pit, and four tent sites. Access to the Outpost will be by boat or by trail system. Unless reserved, use of the Outpost is on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Outpost amenities can be reserved by contacting Doc's Boathouse at 836-7458. Fees for Outpost are as follows: Daily use of the Outpost: no charge One night camping: $25 (This includes tent & transportation from Boathouse to Outpost) Annual Camping Pass: $100 (This includes tent & transportation from Boathouse to Outpost) Our family would like instruction on how to kayak. Outdoor recreation includes basketball and volleyball located at Reunion Field (balls available at Fitness Central), fishing, captained boat tours, kayak tours, naturalist walking tours, and guided fishing tours.
